FAQ

Common questions, answered

Do I need a diagnosis to attend?

No. You don’t need a formal diagnosis or a referral from a doctor. If you’re experiencing anxiety, panic attacks or phobias, you’re welcome to get in touch.

Is what I share kept confidential?

Yes. What’s shared in the group stays in the group. It’s a safe space built on mutual trust between members.

What actually happens at a meeting?

Meetings are informal and peer-led, focused on sharing experiences and practical coping strategies. Some weeks a guest speaker joins to share techniques. There’s no pressure to speak until you’re ready.

Is there a cost to attend?

No, meetings are free to attend. Donations are always welcome but never required.

Can I just turn up on the day?

Please get in touch with us before your first visit, so we can have a brief chat and make sure we’re the right support for you. After that, you’re welcome to attend as often as suits you.

Do I have to talk if I don't want to?

Not at all. You can come along, listen, and take things at your own pace. Many people find just being in the room is a helpful first step.

What if I can only make it some weeks?

That’s completely fine. Attend weekly or occasionally — this is your support group, on your terms.

Still have a question?

We’re happy to talk it through, whatever it is.
